...Jay, I'm sorry, but not all of your poems conform to the standard 5,7,5 formula of a proper haiku...I'm sorry Jay, but this is unacceptable.
Everything conforms to 5-7-5, if you take "Liberal" and "smiles" as 2 syllables each. It all passes the approval of my exacting standards.
Geez, how 'bout I let my Japanese wife settle things?
Oops, sorry. She's gone to Tokyo.
